Angel Beats is a Japanese anime series produced and directed by P.A. Works and Seiji Kishi. Jun Maeda is the one who conceived the story and wrote the screenplay. He has also composed the music with Anant-Garde Eyes. The Anime series consists of 13 episodes in total and it was first serialized in Japan between the months of April and June in the year 2010.

Otonashi tries hard to recall his past life and he gets closer to Tenshi and the second season might unfold the relationship between Tenshi and Otanashi in their past life.
